Bharti Infratel is a provider of tower and related infrastructure sharing services. It pioneered the tower infrastructure sharing concept in India. Including its 42% equity interest in Indus Towers, it is the market leader PAN India with 85,000 towers across telecom circles, many of which are in remote and tough terrains. Infratel helps its customers i.e. all telecom operators maximize their reach to more communities across the country.

We are looking for Head - Revenue Assurance, Finance function who will look after the complete revenue stream of the organization. The position is based out of Headquarters of Bharti Infratel Ltd., Gurgaon.

The broad key responsibility areas of the role include :

Financial Process :

- Conceptualizing, putting in place and managing requisite revenue assurance checks and balances across O2C value chain, which includes various pre-bill run and post-bill run validation checks before billing and revenue accrual.

- Proactively identifying revenue leakages or potential leakage areas, highlighting to respective stakeholders and catalyzing closure of the same with final billing

- Checking if Billing is happening accurately, completely and consistently basis agreements signed off with OPCO's and keeping updated with business developments (new products, new agreements, renewal etc)

- Checking on Business CNs (Credit Notes) / DNs (Debit Notes) calculation as per agreements and their applicability per NFA (Note for Approval) / ARN raised from system

- Prepare RLDB (Revenue Leakage dashboard) / RA report every month to senior management, circles and functions basis reconciliations

- Adhere to prescribed RA process workflows established around best practices to complete periodic reconciliations and prepare the RLDB

- Ensure process adherence by conducting data analysis including variance and root cause analysis and reporting.

- Revisiting universe of reconciliations for Telecom tower company by relooking at Service Paths, Revenue Paths and Expense Paths for key activities

- Define new processes / redefine existing process basis revised universe/activities

- Standardization, automation and implementation of revenue assurance reconciliations through in house technology / BI (Business Intelligence) teams or through off the shelf products (COTS product)

- Adhere to STRAPs & Corporate Projects defined for the financial year and benchmarking actual performance against milestones conceived for the same

- Identifying non-compliances within company & quantifying the opportunity loss to arrive at PoNC (Price of Non-Compliance) dashboard

Customer :

- Monthly meeting with stakeholders (Functional heads, CFHs, Billing, RA SPoCs etc) to understand best practices, current areas of concern, resolution points, pain areas and future potential areas of leakage

- Adhere to SLAs as defined for providing periodic data and receiving periodic data as signed off with relevant stakeholders

People Management :

- Update/develop Personal and Team Knowledge about Revenue Assurance and best practice within the Telecom Field to ensure the organization's RA readiness is at par with industry standards.

- Enhance Structured training material for Business (Non-Finance) and Finance teams including e-learning modules, knowledge sessions around Revenue Assurance for inducting new joinees as well as to serve as a reference document for Finance team

- Analyze the performance of Finance teams at various circles with respect to the projected targets and suggest measures for improvement in RA and rank them accordingly.

- Establish performance expectations and reviews the performance of team members on a regular basis

CA / MBA (Finance) with 8-10 years of experience in core revenue assurance and billing function with Telecom/ Consulting industry is preferred.
