Job Purpose:

The role involves advanced research and development to enhance client relationships, acquire strategic datasets, and create innovative solutions through product prototyping. You will evaluate and acquire new data assets, develop advanced algorithms, and apply them to large datasets to solve complex business challenges. The ability to manage multiple projects, anticipate obstacles, and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

- Data Analysis: Analyze and process large datasets, apply machine learning, data mining, and text mining techniques, design data structures, and develop models for data evaluation and performance validation.

- Problem Solving & Innovation: Develop best practices for data utilization, generate insights, and create materials for knowledge sharing and roundtable discussions.

- Project Management: Independently manage projects, collaborate with teams, and influence project outcomes at multiple levels.

- Client & Internal Relationship Management: Lead efforts to improve client solutions, enhance data quality, optimize model fit, and manage project timelines.

- Teamwork & Knowledge Sharing: Provide mentorship, contribute to department-wide improvements, and advocate for analytics through publications and presentations.

Qualifications:

- Expertise in data analysis, machine learning, and advanced algorithms.

- Strong project management and client relationship skills.

- Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects and deliver on tight schedules.

- Ability to write near-production-level code in at least one general purpose programming language (e.g. Python, C++).

- Understanding of modern technologies in processing of large data sets, including Apache family (Hadoop, Spark), latest database technologies (e.g. Graph databases, time-series databases), and natural language processing and other tools for the parsing of unstructured data.
