Learning and Organizational Development (L&OD) Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Learning and Organizational Development (L&OD) Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in driving our organization's talent development strategy, fostering a culture of continuous learning, and aligning our workforce capabilities with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Learning and Development:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive L&OD strategy aligned with our company's vision, mission, and business goals

- Design and oversee the execution of learning programs that address skill gaps and enhance employee performance across all levels

- Collaborate with senior leadership to identify critical organizational capabilities and create targeted development initiatives

Talent Management:

- Partner with HR Business Partners and line managers to create robust succession plans and career development pathways

- Implement leadership development programs to build a strong pipeline of future leaders

- Design and facilitate assessment centers for high-potential employees

E-learning and Digital Transformation:


- Manage the digital transformation of our learning ecosystem by implementing cutting-edge e-learning platforms and technologies

- Develop blended learning solutions that combine traditional classroom training with digital learning experiences

- Ensure the effective utilization of our Learning Management System (LMS) to track and report on learning metrics

Performance Management:

- Redesign and enhance our performance management processes to foster a high-performance culture

- Train managers on effective performance coaching and feedback techniques

- Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of L&OD initiatives on business outcomes

Organizational Development:

- Conduct organizational diagnostics to identify areas for improvement in structure, processes, and culture

- Facilitate change management initiatives to support business transformation projects

- Design and implement employee engagement surveys and action planning processes

Budget Management:

- Develop and manage the annual L&OD budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources

- Negotiate contracts with external training vendors and consultants to ensure cost-effectiveness

Key Skills and Qualifications:

- Master's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, or a related field

- Minimum 5 years of experience in L&OD roles

- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies

- Expertise in designing and facilitating leadership development programs

- Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools and Learning Management Systems

- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights

- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders

- Experience in change management and organizational development methodologies

- Knowledge of performance management best practices and trends

- Familiarity with Indian labor laws and HR practices

- Certification in relevant areas (e.g., SHRM-SCP, ATD CPLP) is desirable
