Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Management: Take ownership of managing and increasing sales within your designated area, ensuring the achievement of sales targets and revenue goals.
- Team Management: Oversee and lead a team of Field Sales Officers (FSOs) and Territory Officers (T.O.s), providing guidance, support, and motivation to maximize their performance.
- Problem Solving: Address challenges and issues faced by your team members promptly, offering solutions and support to ensure the successful execution of sales strategies.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular contact and open communication with the National Sales Manager (NSM), Regional Sales Manager (RSM), and corporate managers to update them on field activities and provide valuable market feedback.
- Strategy Implementation: Ensure the complete and effective implementation of the company's sales strategies and any sales programs or initiatives announced by the company.
- Training and Development: Conduct on-the-job training sessions for FSOs and T.O.s to enhance their skills, efficiency, and effectiveness in their roles.
- Performance Evaluation: Provide regular updates on the development and performance of the field personnel under your supervision, facilitating their evaluation and growth.
Requirements:
- 5-9 years of experience in sales management, preferably in a related industry or field.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and objectives.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing issues.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Dedication to implementing company strategies and achieving results.
- Commitment to ongoing training and development, with the ability to train and mentor junior team members.
- Regular reporting and documentation skills to provide updates on team performance and field activities.
