Bharat Innovation Fund is looking for a marketing and content Ninja, someone with a strong content focus to create a unique and visible brand for Bharat Innovation Fund within the startup ecosystem.
The person in this role will be responsible for laying the foundations for content-led initiatives working closely with the Bharat Innovation Fund team to reach out to the wider startup ecosystem audience to highlight the Fund's Deep tech, Digital Infrastructure and Climate Tech investment thesis, differentiate the Fund from other competitor Funds by amplifying our portfolio and attracting inbound audiences that we can form meaningful partnerships with.
Job Responsibilities :
- Managing all channels of external communication for Bharat Innovation Fund - be it social media, website, podcast, partner/PR communications, media engagement and events
- Direct/Write/Create/Co-Create/Guide content across different funnels/channels of marketing (awareness, engagement, short-form, long-form, branded content, leadership content) in sync with a content calendar working with the team or external content writers.
- Conduct secondary research to help power the creation of both short and long-term assets, and work with the team to generate talking points for Bharat Fund and its partners across our sectors and domains of interest (DeepTech, Climate, Digital Infrastructure etc.).
- Rapidly experiment and discover benchmarks for your brand and marketing experiments while also straddling traffic and communication goals.
- Engage with the wider community of Accelerators/Incubators, startup events and other relevant forums to promote and enhance Bharat Innovation Fund brand. Keep an eye out on the competitive landscape and engage with the startup community across the country and globally for Bharat Innovation Fund.
Key Skills/Abilities
- Curiosity, fresh perspectives, attention to detail and a can-do attitude are key abilities that the incumbent is expected to bring to this role.
- In this role, you will operate in the epicenter of the Indian startup ecosystem developments, and future trends and interact with some of the smartest minds in the country. Hence, staying on top of technology and startup trends and funneling insights into content strategy will be important.
- Excellent verbal, written, and multimedia communications skills - someone who can straddle content across channels.
- Networking - Forming relations with media, event teams and industry association partners over the middle to long term will be key to excelling in the role.
- Past experience in content marketing/PR/startup ecosystem development that has contributed to brand building and/or traffic/thought leadership goals.
- Experience writing, ideally on Technology for different content formats like text, video, podcasts, events, etc.
- Channel expertise (or an ability to quickly upskill on these) - Impart best practices for platforms, sectoral groups and community engagement
Qualification/Experience Required :
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree.
- 3 - 8 years of experience either in the startup ecosystem or PR agency or a corporate marketing stint.
- Strong enthusiasm/interest towards Technology and the Innovations ongoing in the Tech sector
- Keen enthusiasm to learn and engage with the startup ecosystem
- Comfortable switching between topics of expertise, and types of formats, with an ability to balance the width & depth of content.
- Strong and motivated self starter. Working with multiple stakeholders and ability to thrive in an ambiguous and fast-paced rapidly changing environment
