Position Summary:
- Responsible for the critical appraisal of the functioning of the entity and add value to the overall governance mechanism of the entity.
- The position will oversee the functioning and effectiveness of all the policies, processes, procedures, and controls.
- The incumbent will have to position organizational resources to significantly add value to streamline current processes and, also make it efficient and effective to address Organization growth.
Key Accountabilities/ Key Responsibilities:
- Assists in development of the company's annual audit plan.
- Manages performance of audit assignments, reviews workpapers and audit reports.
- Initiative to innovative audit methodology by making it dynamic and use technology to cover all the risk sand controls of the company.
- Effective and timely communication of the audit findings and ensure recommendations are implemented.
- Coordinates with the holding company and submission of the reports as per the calendar.
- Coordinates with the external and concurrent auditors.
- Participates in review and implementation of policies and processes.
- Travel to the branches and regional offices to perform the audits and reviews.
- Trains the existing team.
Experince & Education:
- 10 to 12 years of experience in the Internal Audit Department (4 to 5 years in Financial Sector would be preferable).
- CA/ ICWAI/ MBA (Additional qualification will be an added advantage).
