Bharat Financial Inclusion - Lead Manager - Market Research

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct in-depth market research and analysis of the banking, payments, and rural financial landscape.

- Analyze strategies and business developments of competitors in the industry.

- Benchmark BFIL products and services against competitive offerings.

- Assess the impact of macroeconomic factors on the business.

- Identify and analyze emerging trends, market dynamics, and policy impacts.

- Interpret data to identify patterns, correlations, and key drivers of change in the micro-banking space.

- Scout the external environment and assess changes happening in the industry, economy, and competitive landscape.

- Perform competition analysis on BFIL products and benchmark performance.

- Gather quantitative and qualitative data from various sources, including primary research, surveys, and secondary data.

- Utilize data repositories, RBI data, NPCI data, and other relevant sources to collect and corroborate data.

- Prepare detailed reports, whitepapers, and presentations summarizing findings and insights.

- Collate data, create narratives, and prepare corporate presentations for quarterly/annual and ad-hoc presentations.

- Support senior management in collating and vetting data for reports/PPTs.

- Collaborate with senior management of cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders.

- Conduct field research, attend industry conferences, and build relationships within the industry.

Qualifications:

- Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Business, or a related field.

- 10+ years of experience in market research, preferably with a research agency.

- Proven experience in research, particularly in banking, payments, or rural development.

- Strong analytical and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex information.

- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.

- Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.

- Sound knowledge of financial statements and macroeconomic principles.

- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

- Self-driven and results-oriented with a strong attention to detail
