POSITION SUMMARY : The Chief Risk Officer's (CRO) primary responsibility is to develop and implement a risk management framework with appropriate tools for the measurement, reporting and control of company's financial and non-financial risks. CRO Works to ensure that the company complies with government regulations KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : - Governance and implementation of Risk Management framework - Credit Underwriting / Analysis and developing the lending policies for all products. - Oversee the implementation of credit policies &amp; procedures - Management of Credit Bureau functions by partnering with Bureaus on any new data intelligence - New Products Approvals - Analyzing Portfolio Performance, identifying trends &amp; building insights for management review - Industry Peer analysis &amp; trends - BI Conceptualization &amp; modelling - Ensuring that risk libraries are reviewed and updated on a regular basis across the organization for all critical departments - Ensuring that risks are communicated in an appropriate and timely manner to the risk team from respective process owners. - Facilitating the implementation, monitoring effectiveness of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework and review the same on an annual basis - Monitoring of risks and reporting the risks to the Risk committee / Management on timely basis. - Supporting the development and implementation of detailed risk limits &amp; methodologies within the organization. - Building Dashboards for effective Credit Risk Monitoring and Automated reporting - Implementation of IT Risk Management functions - Managing Business process Risk and BCP framework along with IT risk assessment Education,Experience and Skills : - Chartered Accountant / MBA (Finance) - 15+ years of experience in BFSI, in which at least 5 years must be in the Banking Industry playing a senior role. - Skills Sound Knowledge of audit and risk management methodologies - Expert skills and experience with implementing and positively influencing enterprise-wide risk assessment processes and mitigation procedures
