Category Head/CBO/CCO - Mens - Apparel & Lifestyle
- P&L: Owning P&L for the relevant category in alignment with business goals. The Category manager would be responsible for the revenue targets as well as the net profit margin.
- Will be required to help develop campaign strategies & build comprehensive monthly/quarterly marketing plans which align with the core OKRs & goals of the Category Marketing Team.
- End to end responsibility of customer experience and growth of the category assigned
- Creating category properties that improve the shopping experience and result in higher conversion, aligned to the categories of unique needs and strategic direction.
- Driving curated shopping experiences by theme, occasion, trends, etc. Managing and scaling the process of curation.
- Marketing promotions: Should drive visibility plans, promotion plans and coordinate with internal marketing teams
- Deploy category-wide pricing strategies, optimize the cost of sale and channel mix to hit target profitability.
- Category Growth: Driving growth category keeping in mind the consumer and competition.
- Selection: Responsible for merchandising, assortment planning, option plans pre-season as well as in season to ensure that the Category is well represented.
- Lead the budget process for the top line category revenue numbers with Sales / Marketing on the pricing and contracting strategy for month/quarter.
- Leading & Conceptualizing all the non-discounted projects across the platform like Cross-Selling, launching New Season on the platform. Working cross-functionally with the category, product teams, marketing & creative teams to relentlessly innovate & maintain the excellent on-site experience.
- Work with internal sourcing, quality & design team to track key project milestones, ensure processes are followed for review & reporting of the same
- Orders Fulfilment & Returns: To ensure 100% customer satisfaction through brand level monitoring of the NPS score vis-a-vis Delivery Time, Product Quality, Wrong SKU delivered etc.
- Supervision and Monitoring of Operations: Should have prior experience or enough knowledge & confidence to mentor / supervise merchandising operations. Inbound planning, Cataloguing monitoring & Discount monitoring, etc should be managed.
- Compile weekly analysis reports to analyze key drivers of market share performance and understand the overall effectiveness of strategies.
- Generating consumer behaviour insights and creating tools and dashboards to analyze and evaluate solutions initiatives.
