Job Responsibilities:

- Responsible for processing payroll on monthly basis

- Calculating variable components while processing payroll on monthly basis

- Handling Full and Final settlement of employees on exit

- Responsible for payroll reconciliation at month end

- Booking entries into the accounting system relating to payroll and its disbursements

- Responsible for verifying Income Tax Declaration submitted by employees during the year and raising/ resolving concerns.

- Responsible for collecting the proof of investment from all employees at year end, verifying the documents and making sure the tax is deducted accurately

- Maintaining Bank account information for all employees on monthly basis for payroll processing

- Handling employee helpdesk

- Resolving queries/ concerns of employees relating to payroll, income tax declaration, income tax liability, bank account details

- Preparing data for TDS return on quarterly/ yearly basis

- Coordinating and providing information to auditors during audit process

- Providing monthly/ yearly/ ad hoc payroll report to the management

Requirement:

- Bachelors/ masters in accounting, Finance, CA Inter, CS

- Experience; 4+ years

- Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen

- Good understanding of TDS, Employee Income Tax Slabs, Exemptions, and deductions

available under different sections of Income Tax Law

- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with NetSuite would be an added

advantage

- Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
