Description :
Better.com seeks an Senior Analyst to be a key member supporting the India/US team. Analyst you will work closely with Accounts Payable team.This role will have regular interaction with stakeholders and various business units across Better.com and therefore requires strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Responsibilities :
- Posting & Processing monthly invoices
- Review Invoices and highlighting gaps/ inaccuracies
- Resolving open/ disputed items with vendors/ vendor owners
- Working on Vendor onboarding and vendor management
- Preparing AP Aging report
- Identifying process gaps and suggesting process improvements
- Preparing month TDS and GST reports and submitting the payments with the authorities
- Posting Bank entries and bank reconciliation
- Monthly P&L and Balance sheet reconciliation
- Month end close activities
- Employee Reimbursement
- Help in the audit process
Basic Qualifications :
- Bachelor's / Master's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field preferred
- Experience range 3- 6 years of experience
- Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices - Indian Accounting Standards
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with Netsuite would be an added advantage
- Good understanding of GST, TDS
- Strong personal computer and business solutions software skills
Preferred Qualifications :
- Good command over Excel
- Excellent business judgment, including strong written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, competing priorities in an energetic, fast-paced environment
- Comfort with ambiguity and creative problem-solving
- Highly innovative and flexible; ability to work with autonomy
