Role and Responsibilities :
- Coordinate with various stakeholders for payroll & offboarding inputs/documents for 500+ employees
- Assuring proper Statutory Calculations for Salary processing, Tax Calculation independently
- Worked on process improvements to ensure efficiency through automating functions and timely deliverables.
- Responsible for Designing Compensation Structures in lines with annual Increment policy of the Company.
- Compile and reconcile payroll inputs and process payroll
- Well updated on Statutory Compliance, PF and ESIC calculations.
- Coordinate with accounting and finance team to arrange payroll funds - Complete employer obligations around tax filing and other regulatory reporting.
- Ensure to share payroll reports to respective stakeholders (Finance, HR etc.)
- Actively participate in Tax Year-end activities to meet regulatory timelines
- Adapt at handling large volumes of data and work in a deadline driven environment
- Design and manage on-boarding and off-boarding processes
- Administer HR policies and procedures
- Administer compensation and benefits, and ensure compensation and benefits are in line with company policies and legislation
- Implement and monitor performance management system
- Handle employee complaints, grievances and disputes
- Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting HR functions
Requirement :
- Proven experience of 3-5 years as payroll specialist or payroll lead.
- Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices
- Very good knowledge of legislation and regulations of the field
- Proficient in MS Office and good knowledge of relevant software (e.g. Kronos, Payforce) and databases
- Trustworthy with attention to confidentiality
- Outstanding organizational ability with great attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Any Graduate/ Post-graduate in business, accounting or relevant field is a plus
