Bert Labs - General Manager - Corporate Finance and Corporate Development - CA
Role and Responsibilities :
- Strong knowledge and experience of finance and accounting principles, including financial reporting, budgeting, financial statements, and analytical skills
- Responsible for improving the overall Cost Structure of running the Company strategically, balancing out Company's immediate to short to medium to long term objectives.
- Responsible for improving EBITDA and PAT. Achieve and sustain Company's profitability at EBITDA level 40%+ over the next 5 years, with 300% revenue growth year-on-year
- Determining Company's financial thresholds on payback, NPV, IRR. And responsible for sustaining these financial thresholds on every deployments which Company pursues with its clients at several of their Sites in India & Global.
- Responsible for and therefore work closely with the Sales & Product Management teams to ensure that all client interface projects do not cost overruns during the deployment of Bert Platform Solution. And during the life cycle of 5-10 years of these deployments.
- Determine Company's P&L Objectives and responsible for achieving & sustaining these objectives for every Function, from Chairman's/ CEO's office, to Finance Function to Human Resources to Project Management to Sales & Business Development to Marketing to Manufacturing & Procurement to Research & Development to Bert Maximus to Bert Qrious to Bert Nova to Bert Geminus to Bert Optimus to Bert IPR.
- Responsible for and therefore work closely with CEO and CEO's office towards Company's vision, strategy, and execution re: Investment (Equity and Debt) over the next 5 years, leading to Company's IPO in 2026-27.
- Do all the thorough research, document it and be with the CEO to start and pursue dialogue with these investors for all these investment rounds.
- Responsible for and therefore work with the CEO, CEO's office, Leads of Technology, HR, IPR, Product Managers, Project Management, and external Business Partners, such as Auditors, Payroll, Finance & Accounting Partner, CS firm, for preparing and making the organization ready from process, documentation, compliance, taxation and statutory requirements standpoint.
- Responsible for and therefore work with Diligence teams of the investors to enable and facilitate smooth, effective diligence conducted.
- Be part of all the Investor negotiation discussions and responsible for, along with the CEO, CEO's office, and few other key members of the Company, and arrive at a mutual agreement with the investors, which is in the best interest of the Company.
- Responsible for Company's Books of Accounts: Profit & Loss Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statements, etc.
- Well versed with Statutory Compliance to ensure all returns are filed correctly and on time.
- Coordinate with legal and tax consultants for meeting deadlines and compliances
Qualifications :- 10+ years of experience in Corporate Finance & Corporate Development role.
- Chartered Accountant
- Excellent financial modeling skills preferred, experience in statistical modeling techniques is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent Project management and organizational skills, and the ability to effectively prioritize work to meet deadlines
