Educational Qualification :
Graduate in any stream (Preferably in Commerce or Science) or Diploma in Supply Chain Management /Logistics/Materials Mgmt
Experience :
Minimum 2- 3 years relevant experience, of which at least 1 year in Warehousing and transportation role in Retail, FMCG or Pharma company.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Support design of strategies/plans and ensure their implementation for effective logistics and improve Region efficiency on inventory management
- Responsible for Secondary freight initiatives across the region
- Drive productivity through improvements in TATs of sales order and stock transfers
- Collaborate and monitor with central planning and regional sales team to reduce slow moving and obsolete stocks in the region
- Continuously look at ways of controlling / managing costs (damage/expiry)
- Provide tools and expertise to the field teams on Transportation Optimization through Route planning and /Frequency Optimization
- Perform spend analysis for the region and develop cost and service matrix for implementation and budget adherence.
- Conduct & support operations team in cost and performance analysis for monthly reporting.
- Coordinate with secondary transporters for the execution of sales orders on daily basis.
- Coordinate with Warehouse team for execution of inbound and outbound movement of goods
- Prepare Logistics MIS for the region
- Ensure productivity from warehousing and freight & improved fill rates by reducing the stock-out at depot
- Drive implementation of quality checks and process change in warehouse
- Conduct warehouse audit to check inventory accuracy at bin and mfd level.
- Coordinate with various internal & external stakeholders to manage the shelf life of products and improve stock freshness.
- Managing outbound logistics from the warehouse's to the Distributors and Direct Key Account customers.
- Liaison with the transporters for on time availability of vehicles to achieve ontime delivery while optimaly utilizing vehicle capacity.
- Review back orders regularly and execute the dispatches
- Conduct benchmarking exercise for warehousing KPIs and partner with regional logistics team to drive efficiencies.
- Delivery tracking of sales consignment out for delivery and communicate to all stakeholders (sales, finance, logistics and planning team) for status update
