Job Title : Regional Capability Development Manager

Reports to : Head- Capability Development

Location : Based at Mumbai. He/She will be responsible for West & Central Region

Overall Obligation : The job incumbent would be responsible for building capability through implementation of all Sales Training and Developmental plans for the West & Central region.

The incumbent would also be responsible for development of relevant knowledge and skill levels across field force for Urban, Rural, Modern Trade and Institution with direct focus on driving distribution / expanding market share / developing new markets and increasing revenues.

Successful performance requires :

- Good Exposure in conducting Training Programmes and Sales Force Management

- Good inter-personal skill

- Self-driven, motivating and accountable

- Sharp in internal checks and control

Detailed Responsibilities :

- Primary Facilitator for all functional training at the Region.

- Custodian of all training and development inputs for Urban, Rural, Modern Trade, and relevant International Business teams at the Region.

- Facilitate overall development of Sales Fundamentals in field force in the Regions through Training & Development inputs.

- Better execution in the field - Wholesale Management Program, Signature Project, Scheme utilization, New Product Launch Management, Sub stockist Management

- Conduct orientation programs for D/PSR on selling skills

- Taking Regional level initiatives in training (Need based training initiatives such as Field work, Class room training on Skills & Products training, Channel specific)

- Achieve Revenue Plan of Division Sales by conducting Sales Training and selling skills, thereby Supporting Division in driving the key processes to achieve leadership growth.

- Plan, prepare & roll out training calendar for self & team quarterly & monthly basis.

- Constantly striving for creative & interactive training techniques to influence the audience.

- Network with relevant and comparable organizations for bench-marking extant training and sales processes.

- Plan with team & finalize activity calendar for the year, keeping the basics right & inclusion of newer ideas year on year, especially with the existing line of products

- Develop and execute tools and processes for periodically measuring effectiveness of the sales training interventions

Required Qualification :

- Graduate + Management Degree preferred but not essential

- Must have sales experience in an FMCG / Insurance company, FMCG Preferred

- 5 - 10 years experience
