Job Description - Production Planner
Overall Obligation :
S/he will be responsible for timely Production Planning of all categories (mixing,filling and material Planning) while ensuring maximum usage of capacity and inventory of bulk and availability of the Raw/Pack material. S/he will also be responsible for supporting strategic projects i.e. Service Level improvement, Supply chain Improvements and Launch/Re launch projects
Detailed Responsibilities (non-inclusive):
1. Production Planning :
The job holder ensures a correct and efficient planning of FGs and bulk in SAP to guarantee the timely delivery of Finished Goods in accordance to the demands from domestic Demand Management and Export countries. A closed collaboration with the MRP planner as well as the production department is therefore required.
2. SAP System/ Master data :
The job holder ensures the production planning is operated by the MRP system, monitors the process and ensures that agreed measures are implemented. Master data is a key for a efficient production planning in SAP and needs to be therefore maintained correctly and reviewed continuously. Should have complete understanding on the SAP System including the master data maintenance for the Production System.
3. Phase in/ Phase out :
The job holder ensure that all Launch/ Relaunch projects are supported in terms of in time delivery of the new FG, prober phase out of the old FG and immediate escalation in case of foreseen issues.
4. Reporting :
The incumbent needs to monthly monitor and announce demands that can- t be fulfilled to the Supply Planner. Furthermore, a monthly Service Level analysis needs to be done and commented. In addition the inventories of bulk needs to be managed by the job holder.
5. Continuous Improvement :
The job holder supports in ongoing projects, such as Serve Level increase initiates or process improvement projects.
- To assist in maintaining and strengthening the Safety management system and practices at the site. Particularly, focus on Workplace safety, Integrated SHE Practices and Code of Ethics
- He / she shall be prime responsible for maintain the safety culture of respective area
- Continually monitor, analyze and minimize Process Safety & Occupational Health impact to reduce risks & hazards at the site by carrying out plant round, inspection and BBS implementation. Also assisting Safety Executive on the shop floor for implementation of corrective actions.
- Participating SHE related meetings, training / awareness programs including execution of mock drill.
- Participating in analyzing, implementing and ensuring Process Safety & Occupational Health matters to reduce the impact on people working at the site. Also coordinate with different departments for new products, Processes, change in existing processes, during modification, and installation of new / replacement of equipment & facility, including validation and qualification in line with SHE guidelines
- Participating in - on site and off site emergency plan- and guiding the concerned functions in implementing the same, including Environmental aspect.
- Assisting HODs for SHE related accident / incident prevention, investigation
- Ensuring the compliance of permit to work system in respective area.
- Monitoring, Reviewing and strengthening SHE system to mitigate potential risks.
- Assist in preparation and validation of SHE related procedures, SOPs, forms etc.
Required Qualification:
- Education - MBA/BE/BTech from Premium college
- Exp: 3-5 years in Production or Material Planning
- Experience with SAP R/3
- Good English
- Good communication skills and proactive behavior
- Microsoft Office Package (in particular Excel, Powerpoint, Word), SAP FICO, SAP BW/BI
