Our working culture is built on collaborative, courageous and innovative teams that share the common purpose of Caring Beyond Skin Job Description : The Category Manager is responsible for category strategy, NPD development, Communication development and sales delivery for the portfolio while ensuring margin delivery (MCII) of his/her brand groups. Detailed Responsibilities : - Lead the annual Marketing Plan, within the long term Business Plan - Liaise with GBU / Regional offices to identify appropriate product innovations, local supply chain to ensure that internal processes are properly managed and Commercial Units (CUs) are fully briefed and resourced to deliver appropriate Customer Marketing Plan. - Prepare a 3-year business plan by brand group to provide strategic direction for individual sub-brands and define contribution to future sales and profit growth. - Develop a thorough understanding of the local consumer needs and competitive context for your category based on U&A and various focus group studies, to craft the best in class communication. - Prepare and control the marketing budget allocation in collaboration with the Marketing Manager - Initiate and control the media buying via the media agency in collaboration with the Marketing Manager - Collaborate with communications agencies to ensure the best-in-class adaptation/creation of marketing and communication campaigns suited to the different local markets. Apply and further build digital capabilities to leverage consumer journeys and deliver brand KPIs. - Evaluate, scope, and validate concept to product development of exciting marketing mixes so as to bring in relevant innovations and renovations that excite and engage consumers. - Initiate, monitor and approve the adaptation of international advertising material according to the headquarters guidelines as well as to the local needs. - Initiate, develop and execute local advertising material in accordance with the international guidelines and the brand philosophy - Lead exchange of insights/recommendations with GBU / MU Office to facilitate the definition of regional marketing and communication strategy and local competitive advantage. Assure Product Supply. - Exploring and proposing new possibilities and ideas to market the brands in the local market - Collaborating extensively with cross-functional teams including Sales, Shopper & Customer Marketing, Ecommerce, Supply Chain and Finance on all matters related to your category. Required Qualification : - Education: University degree in Marketing Management - 8-10 years' experience in Marketing/Sales. Atleast 2+ years in FMCG sales and 5+ experience in consumer marketing - Experience of leading a marketing team - Experience of working on strategic projects on brand and product innovations - Experience in Shopper marketing and Modern Trade is a plus - Strong data analytics and digital mindset
