BDO - Project Manager - Digital Office/IT Applications

In this role you will be responsible to work as Project Manager on a number of business-critical applications within the various technology/digital projects of company.

The various projects within this remit are tracked and monitored at the most senior levels in the firm. The incumbent of this role will take ownership of the planning, tracking, and reporting of these various projects.

You will be working with the central core digital office team

Responsibilities : 

- To develop metrics, communicate major milestones, identify potential project risks, provide continuing direction to the project team, conduct regular status meetings to review project activities, and communicate timely updates to management.

- Responsible for managing scope changes (i.e. Change Management) and project acceptance procedures.

- To work closely with other members of the department and business to understand complex problems, translate into clear and understandable requirements and propose appropriate solutions.

- The cross-functional and cross-product nature of the job requires the incumbent to see across the traditional silos in this business so that benefits can be realized from front to back.

- The role will also require keeping projects on-track and providing transparency.

- To demonstrate significant experience in project/program management and be flexible with respect to project management methodologies.

- Negotiating and prioritizing individual development pieces, continuous improvement, ad-hoc analysis work and project management tasks are also required.
