Job Description - Reporting to the Business Development Manager, Malaysia, your job responsibilities will include:
- Performing all functions of business development, potential sales introductions and local support, with the focus always on value added marketing.
- Planning and strategizing business development and sales activities for the territory.
- Regularly reviewing the sales achievement against targets and forecasts anticipated sales.
- Reporting the figures to the regional HQ in Malaysia and working closely with the sale team in Malaysia.
- Formulating tactical moves to counter threats and competition to the business and to exploit market opportunities.
- Handling all customer queries and complaints in the field and presenting the company and capabilities in the field.
- Meeting with buyers and technical people to discuss any business issues that may arise
- Recognizing the needs of customers to provide excellent customer care.
The Successful Candidate - You should be a Science graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Nutrition/Food Sciences. You should have a minimum of 5-8 years of sales experience preferably in food ingredients, FMCG or chemical industry with in depth knowledge of industrial sales. You have an experience with business development across the South Asian international markets. You are externally orientated and customer focused. You are a true self-starter capable of operating independently and remotely from head quarter without direct day to day supervision. You are highly motivated and self-driven.You possess excellent communication & interpersonal skills. You practices prudence and good judgment in expenses relating to business development activities especially scheduling of trips and customer visits.
