Position: Business Development Manager

Industry: Food service / Catering

Location: Delhi / NCR

Experience: 1-3 years in a business development / corporate sales in a travel / hospitality industry

A Business Development Manager with Mozaic Services, a start-up by Food & Events will lead efforts to develop new and existing clients for potential revenue maximisation. He will manage the business development function of acquiring and retaining a portfolio of institutional foodservice clients.

- Capital Curry Restaurant: A 1,500 sq. ft. fine dine restaurant in Jasola Vihar serving authentic north Indian cuisine

- Goodfillas Foodcourt: A European style 6,000 sq. ft. casual dining restaurant in Noida, Uttar Pradesh serving local and international favourites

What will I be doing?

Working as a Business Development Manager in an entrepreneurial environment , the following tasks are to be performed to the highest standards:

Business development:

- Formulate plans with the business development partner to meet the long term and short-term revenue targets.

- Create and develop relationships with prospective clients to optimize sales conversion.

- Maintain relationships with clients to understand their foodservice requirements and assist them to change their foodservice partner to Food & Events.

Database management:

- Develop and verify the database of potential clients to be converted.

- Validate the new entries made by team members.

- Track the competitive strategy including pricing and marketing.

Client servicing:

- Handle escalations and provide information to clients whenever needed.

- Act on feedback scores provided by customers to suggest changes to the service delivery processes.

- Clarify information on the various service offerings of Food & Events i.e. offsite catering, fine dine and other F&B support.

- Ability to work in an unorganised entrepreneurial environment

- Knowledge of the local market

- Knowledge of food service / hospitality industry

- Excellent networking skills

- A passion for target-based performance

- Strong attitude, excellent communication skills

- Demonstrated ability to independently manage clients i.e. building, operating and maintaining strategic relationship

- Post graduate degree, in business development or other relevant business field, from a reputable academic institution
