JOB DESCRIPTION
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
BE with MBA having min.10 yrs exp with proven marketing skills and capable to expand the local business operations in India. Should have excellent communication skills and experience in handling international clients in reputed EPCM firms
Principal accountabilities:
- Follow and have updated information on the market sectors in which the company is active
- Develop and maintain a relationship with internal and external contacts that are involved in business development bidding, and project execution
- Prepare marketing strategies for winning new projects
- Meeting potential new clients in order to keep track on their upcoming projects
- Study the project requirements and prepare proposals in accordance with the tenders and client’s requirements
- Coordinate and collate information from the respective engineering departments within the office / network during bidding as well as during project execution
- Follow up and get status updates on the bids submitted to the clients
- Translate winning proposals to contracts in line with the proposals
- Support the Project Managers in the identification of resources as per the requirement of the project
- Collect client’s feedback on the on-going projects
- Keep a good relationship with the construction management team deployed at site.
- Develop and coach a local business development team in India.
Candidate profile:
- Engineering degree with MBA and having experience of minimum 10 years.
- Proven sales and marketing skills.
- Exposure to handle sales, project execution and tendering is advantage
- Good communication skills in written and verbal English.
