Job Title : BDM Security
Department : Solution Sales
Reporting to : National Business Manager (India) Security
Objective / Purpose of duty :
The BDM will own and Drive Booking, Revenue and Margins for the Security Solutions and Security Services. He will be responsible for building and delivering a business plan around their Business unit, which encompasses a combination of Services and vendor's technology products.
Main responsibilities :
- Own and Drive Booking Revenue and Margins for Security Solution Business in a region
- Business Development responsible for growing Solution sales and special focus on Security.
- Achieve the Security Business as per Business Plan agreed and run the additional campaigns for Business growth. Run the marketing campaigns with all T1 Security Vendors.
- Drive account engagement plan for CISCO and other T1 Security partners.
- Propose market and sell security solution offering to targeted accounts across all industries.
Qualification :
- BE
- MBA (desirable)
- Certifications :
Experience : (10 years)
- 6-8 years in IT Security related sales.
- 1-5 yrs in Sales Management.
- Demonstrated ability to develop strong consulting type client relationships at IT Director / CIO levels
- Strong strategic understanding of the use of technology and clients issue- s
Knowledge, skills, and abilities required :
- A strong business management background including strengths across technology consulting, sales, business development, people and financial management
- Good understanding of Networking Concepts and SECURITY products and solutions like Perimeter Security, Firewalls, IPS, Content Security, Consulting Services.
- Familiarity in the Selling SECURITY solutions based on vendors such as CISCO, Juniper, McAfee, Bluecoat, etc.
- Good presentation, interpersonal skills and possess proven capabilities in solution and consultative selling in the IT and business solutions
