The client addresses the growing segment of quality-conscious parents who desire a holistic experience in the formative years of their childs life. They are committed to provide world class early childhood education and are inspired by Inquiry-based learning and the Reggio Emilia approach. In partnership with an International Education Group-Singapore, they are poised to set up quality pre-school learning centres across India.

They are the only pre-school company in the country today. Their international joint venture partner is Singapores no.1 chain of pre-primary schools with 35 pre-schools in several countries of Asia- Singapore, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, China, Indonesia and India. These 35 schools are our owned schools. Besides these, they have several schools with our franchise partners. Their aim is revolutionalize early childhood education through access to global best practices and research. In India, the organization is run by a group of professionals from Harvard Business School, IITM etc.

Over the next few years, they are aiming to provide quality pre-school learning across the length and breadth of the nation. They look forward to work with franchise partners who share their commitment, and will be motivated to create a social impact through a rewarding financial venture.

As part of expansion, we are looking for the following for their Corporate office in Mumbai. The brief profile would be as below:

Position: Business Development Manager

Job profile and Responsibilities:

Sales

- Responsible for developing franchisees across the region

- Achieving set targets for the region

Market Research

- Keep a track of competitor data

- Ensure territories are mapped & identify new unrepresented area for franchisee expansion

Media Planning for Region

- Providing Head Office (HO) with inputs for identifying effective communication channels for various regions

Project Management

- Identifying properties for own schools

- Knowledge of real estate trends, rates, processes and procedures

- Oversee Project from start to completion.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Experience:

- 3-6 Years of experience in the education sector in Business/Franchisee development

- Experience in mapping markets and competition analysis

- Adept in identifying the right print media and various channels of franchise development

Educational Qualification: MBA/Post Graduate from a reputed University

Skills:

- Boundless energy and enthusiasm to work in a rapidly growing venture

- Flexible, approachable with a pleasant personality

- Optimist with a focus on solutions instead of problems

- Constantly envisions and attains success

- Working style emphasizing positive reinforcement and “team first” mentality

Further Information:

- Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, and typically higher than industry norms, approx range of 5-8 lac per annum.
