WHAT YOU'LL DO:
You will be a key member of a small, agile, and diverse global team responsible for protecting the security and safety of our employees, assets, business operations and reputation worldwide. This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities including business resilience, incident response, physical security of our facilities and assets, safe travel programs and management of compliance with global policies. A key focus for the role will be on developing, implementing, maintaining, and managing the business resilience program for BCG's Asia Pacific region-from addressing weather-related events to terrorist acts to criminal acts, to pandemics-in accordance with best practices, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
BCG is a consensus culture and a key to success in this role will be the ability to manage risk and compliance and foster collaboration and partnership in a way that supports and enables our business. You will serve as the primary security contact for our operations across Asia Pacific and will work with local, regional and global leadership and partner with our Risk, Legal, IT teams, and office teams to set and drive our safety and security agenda. It will require building key relationships both internally and externally. You will need to be independent and self-directed and be comfortable and effective working on a virtual team within a matrix reporting relationship.
YOU'RE GOOD AT:
- Co-owning/driving security strategy development and execution, in line with business priorities
- Formulating strategic plans in partnership with broader leadership team; and translating- strategic priorities into action
- Preparing- business cases to support leadership discussions; formulating recommendations and business cases
- Liaising- with and influencing key stakeholders across cohorts to increase awareness of and support for the security agenda
- Leading and coordinating business resiliency and incident response
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with local operations teams and leadership in the Asia Pacific region
- Developing and updating security threat and risk assessments for BCG locations across your region
- Developing and maintaining business resiliency plans and procedures
- Designing and conducting security-related table-top exercises (TTXs)
- Intimately supporting offices and staff during incidents and crises
- Facilitating after-action reviews following exercises and actual incidents
- Coordinating physical security of our assets and people
- Coordinating with the Senior Directors for Global Physical Security and our Global Real Estate team on the design and implementation of physical security installations at company offices and facilities in your region
- Managing the analysis and dissemination of global risk, threat, and intelligence information to internal customers
- Managing or supporting delivery of security at large-scale in-person meetings
- Effective communication and training
- Developing and maintaining a network and relationships with relevant high-level law enforcement and international counterparts to include in-country security and international security agencies, intelligence, and private sector counterparts worldwide
- Promoting and engaging in cross-functional coordination, support, and program development between security and others such as travel, meetings, IT, HR, office operations etc. as they relate to the Asia Pacific region
- Developing and delivering trainings that align with BCG's security program and related initiatives

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS) :
- Excitement for a role that continues to evolve, grow and change over time
- Bachelor's degree or international equivalent; master's degree preferred
- 15+ or more years relevant experience, including experience in the international security arena with a global corporation, preferably a professional services firm
- Experience managing security programs in diverse cultural and legal environments in the Asia Pacific region
- An ability to communicate complex technical issues effectively
- Excellent command of the English language
- Skilled in MS PowerPoint and MS Excel
