We need a talented Consultant across several disciplines - to join us in building transformative digital solutions for our clients using the latest emerging technology. You'll lead the design, development, and implementation of Minimum Viable Products (MVPs), data pipelines, and full-stack customer journeys.

As a DBCG Consultant, you will work closely with clients to understand their issues, define digital strategies, architecture & Consulting Engineering solutions - Technology, win buy-in for your recommendations, and collaborate with BCG colleagues to transform client potential into performance. You will solve complex technical problems, address usability challenges, work with cross functional teams, drive proof of concept development and work closely with client counterparts.

As part of our BCG Digital BCG consulting team, you would work on a variety of technology topics, applying your technology consulting skills to strategic technology challenges. You'll be supported by an extensive training curriculum (the same programme as all BCG consultants), plus technology-specific training and mentoring to build your skills.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

- [4 to 12+] years' experience in software development, ideally in digital delivery, technology consulting, technical product management.

- Master's Degree from a Premier B-school along with Undergraduate degree in Computer science & similar background from a reputed institute is must.

- Expertise in key aspects of technology consulting such as technology assessment, benchmarking, fit-gap assessment, architectural principals, product management.

- Experience with software engineering standards, software testing, usage analytics, technology adoption and devops best practices

Experience in driving large scale agile projects preferably using SAFe, distributed agile frameworks

Stack reference tools:

- Front end: AngularJS, ReactJS, Flutter, Java

- Data/Backend: Relational DB, NoSQL, MSA, MEAN Stack, Springboot

- Agile/Devops tools: Jira/Jenkins

- Cloud tech: AWS/Azure/GCP

Other skills:

- Demonstrable experience in instrumenting applications & acting on the outputs

- Consistent record of evaluating and designing scalable web, API and Windows Services

- Expert understanding of how web applications work

- Excellent knowledge of database systems and programming patterns & standards - especially related to web development

- Strong collaboration skills across small and large project teams (QA, outside vendors, project managers, business sponsors, design teams) as well as strong verbal and written communication skills

- Demonstrated personal ownership of tasks and tenacious approach to finding and fixing the root cause of issues

- Experience in shaping an Consulting Engineering community focused on sharing and growing knowledge

- Experience working with both technical and non-technical colleagues in a cross-functional, interdisciplinary environment, including strong written and verbal communication skills

- Passion and interest in researching new technologies and developing prototypes, POCs, and MVPs

- Ability to lead ideation and brainstorming sessions to devise creative and disruptive digital solutions, demonstrate work to executive stakeholders, transfer knowledge and product support to client development teams

- Ability to bring unique tech perspectives from outside the consulting industry into BCG's typical engagements, requiring:

- Consulting experience [Desirable]

- Strategic mindset (hypothesis driven, 80:20 mindset, iterative approach, activist stance)

- Self-management

- Leadership potential to transform the consulting industry in particular around interaction with designers, architects and product owners

- Progressing thought leadership in deep tech

- New (but proven) methodologies or ways of working

- Experience working with both technical and non-technical colleagues in a cross-functional, interdisciplinary environment, including strong written and verbal communication skills

- University degree with above-average academic performance in a mathematical-scientific field, information technology, or business administration

- Passion and interest in researching new technologies and developing prototypes, POCs, and MVPs.

At BCG Digital BCG you will have the opportunity to travel around the globe to work with clients and BCG teams. At times, this role involves significant travel to client sites. The amount of travel will depend on client needs and nature of projects.
