Head of Vendor Acquisition :
Requirements :
- 10+ years relevant experience
- Experience in team leadership and management
- Strong knowledge of the app industry and start-up ecosystem (discount space desirable)
- Must have strong analytical ability
- Demonstrated ability to consistently close and generate revenues
- Strong track record of high level negotiation and successful internal and external relationship management
- Ability to interact with a broad set of businesses and presenting both over the phone and in person
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail and good follow-through

Responsibilities by Function :
Business Development :
- Ensure all business systems are fit for purpose
- Managing entire city operations of FIZZ from strategy, vendor acquisition, execution and troubleshooting within a stipulated time and budget
- Negotiation of Annual Contracts
- Managing Relations with Vendors
- Recruitment and management of a sales team while establishing incentive and goal-oriented targets
- Establishing a system to ensure frictionless end-to-end operations including pitching, negotiation, partnerships, and payments
- Recommend, develop and manage innovative strategies to support online objectives and initiatives
- Identifying and exploring new business development opportunities as well as analysing existing problems for merchants
- Working with a team to establish quarterly/annual revenue targets
- Bringing fresher perspectives and ideas to the table for the overall growth of the business
- Contribute to short and long-term organisational planning and strategy
- Develop an environment with systems and processes in place, which will enable and encourage business opportunities
Organisational Effectiveness :
- A consultative selling style is desired, coupled with the structure and organizational skills needed to drive deals to closure in a new business environment.
- Drive initiatives in the business development team organisationally that contribute to long-term operational excellence
- Deliver all aspects of the HR function with respect to interns including recruitment, training, review, personal development (if appropriate), performance monitoring and team building
- Actively look for ways improvements can be made to the increase the number of vendors on boarding
- Play a significant role in long-term planning, with the view to delivering operational excellence
