Head of Marketing:
Requirements
- 7+ years relevant experience
- Excellent communication skills- verbal and written
- Strong knowledge of the app industry and start-up ecosystem
- Good work ethic, passionate and pro-active
- Ability to focus and drive to meet goals, deadlines and manage a demanding workload
- Ability to identify the right marketing avenues for a unique product like FIZZ
- Previous experience with event conceptualization, execution and management
- Knowledge about the digital marketing space including SEM and SEO, SMO, ASO and Adwords.
- Experience in exploring and implementation of offline strategies
- Ability to document and execute strategies while working with stringent budgets
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
- Entrepreneurial spirit
- Experience in the discount space desirable
Responsibilities by function:
Strategy:
- To work with the founding team to develop a short term and long term, online and offline, marketing strategy for the company
- Translate consumer trends into effective and integrated marketing plans with the right marketing mix, creative strategy and portfolio management to ensure delivery of brand and business objectives
- Create and strengthen the company's brand values and identity in line with it's goals, vision and mission
- Select and be the point of contact for external agencies (advertising/media/branding, etc) wherever necessary
Execution:
- Work with the team to execute all strategies
- Identify the most effective avenues to ensure higher downloads, users and conversions in the future
- Monitor all promotional activities undertaken and evaluate its effectiveness by analyzing the conversion percentages and utilize the information to improve the annual marketing plan and take corrective decisions going forward
- Manage PR and communication strategy for the organization
Event Management:
- Conceptualize and co-ordinate events as a promotional activity for vendor partners
- Strategically identify the target audience and appropriate marketing avenues for the event
- Ensure end-to-end delivery of every event with the help of the team
- Be the point of contact for any issues that may arise
Team Management:
- Continuous assessment of skill set inventory vis-- -vis organizational/functional needs, identify gaps and induct right people
- Conduct periodical performance appraisal of the team members and guide them to improve their performance and build their career path
