POSITION PURPOSE:

The Trade Marketing Manager is responsible for planning and driving Trade Marketing strategy, across all GT (General Trade) channels and execution for the brands / Portfolio across India. The TMM plays a key role in driving revenue and profitability, while managing key accounts, insighting and process improvements. This role involves working closely with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure effective execution and distribution of products. This role is essential for driving the success of CH products in the market, ensuring effective distribution, promoting sales, and maintaining strong trade relationships.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Planning & execution of Trade marketing promotions/programs for entire brand portfolio across channels/region :

- Build calendar for each activity on the basis of building blocks.

- Execute as per plan by proper communication down the line to Regional Trade Marketing teams and Sales team

- Tracking and monitoring of the same through proper tracking mechanism

- ITeS/automation/dashboards - Customize based on Sales/FF/Analytics requirements

- Planning and execution of loyalty programs for Trade partners and aligning them to business goals.

- Conduct regular business reviews with trade partners to ensure alignment and performance

- Measure the effectiveness of trade marketing activities and adjust strategies as needed

New business development - expansion/activation :

- Planning execution of Portfolio Model stores

- Assist Reginal Teams in execution of effectiveness of coverage/expansion/

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key trade partners, including wholesalers, retailers, and distributors

Visibility :

- Plan/implement merchandising/visibility progress/POSM sourcing & execution/Vendor management

Cost and process compliance :

- Budgeting for TM spends across all brands/channels/regions

- Process/Policies/Protocol to comply with SOM specified requirements on Trade Marketing

- Prepare cogent data analysis of effectiveness of Inputs

- Utilize data analytics to drive decision-making and optimize trade marketing strategies

Training and Development of Front Line :

- SE/SR/Merchandiser/3P manpower - Training/Motivation/coaching

- Tracking effectiveness and take corrective actions

WHO YOU ARE:

- Science graduate with at least 7 years of relevant experience

- Management education

- Commercial Business Acumen

- Exposure to trade marketing

- Operational Excellence

- Strong understanding of the Pharmaceutical/ FMCG or allied industries and OTC product categories

- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills

- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools

- Strong organizational and project management skill

- Willingness to travel >70% of time

The Position is for Bayer's Consumer Health Division in India and will be based out of the South Asia HQ in Thane, Hiranandani Estate.
