Bayer - Manager - Global Sourcing

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Identification of new vendors who have a potential to be BCS suppliers

- Audit the facilities of the new vendors

- Organize vendor plant visits for colleagues from overseas group companies

- Gather market intelligence

- Training the suppliers on QHSE standards, Packaging, Transport norms & Documentation for continuous improvement in supplier performance & increasing the - Reliability- of the supplier

- Negotiations and finalization of the order

WHO YOU ARE:

- Bachelor in Chemical Engineering / BSc. Tech/ M.Sc (Organic/ InOrganic) - MANDATORY

Work experience: 3 - 5 Years & MBA preferred

- Thorough knowledge of the Indian Chemical Industry and Chemical database

- Thorough knowledge of vendors for custom synthesis

- Excellent negotiation and analytical skills

- Knowledge of export import procedure

- Knowledge of transportation, especially hazardous goods

- Street Smart and Good at Communication

- People with Production experience would be given preference
