Analyst position |Mid-market Mumbai-based PE fund |0-2 years

Job Responsibilities:

- Conduct top down research on various sectors in India and at a global level.

- Identify macro trends and changes to articulate sweet spots for investing.

- Undertake fundamental research on public and private companies.

- Build detailed financial and valuation models for prospective investments.

- Assist in documentation, due diligence and execution of live transactions.

- Monitor and track portfolio companies and quarterly results / corporate events within the coverage universe.

Educational Background/ Skill-sets:

Experience:

- 1-2 years' of prior experience in VC/PE/buy-side /consulting/ investment banking roles /working in a start-up environment

- Thorough knowledge of finance, accounting and economics related concepts, understanding of markets etc.

- High level of proficiency in Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Educational Qualifications:

Any one of :

- MBA from a tier-1 college

- CA/CFA Qualified

- B.Tech /Engineer from a Tier-1 college
