BanyanNation - Manager - After Sales - Technical Support

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Technical Support Manager to provide expert after-sales support to customers using our recycled plastics in various molding applications.

The ideal candidate will combine strong technical knowledge of plastic processing with excellent customer service skills to ensure optimal product performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide technical support to customers on the use of recycled plastics in blow molding, injection molding, and extrusion applications.

- Troubleshoot processing issues at customer sites and recommend solutions.

- Conduct customer training on optimal processing parameters for recycled plastics.

- Document technical issues and solutions to build knowledge base.

- Work with Quality and R&D teams to improve product performance based on customer feedback.

- Develop processing guidelines and technical data sheets for new products.

- Support sales team during customer trials and product qualifications.

- Monitor and analyze customer complaints to identify trends and improvement opportunities.

- Travel to customer sites as needed (40-50% travel expected).

Additional Responsibilities:

- Develop relationships with moulders/converters and understand their pain points.

- Market and promote Banyan grades to moulders/converters.

Required Qualifications:.

- B.Tech/B.E in Plastics Engineering, Polymer Technology, or related field.

- 7+ years experience in plastic processing, with expertise in blow molding, injection molding, and extrusion.

- Strong understanding of polymer properties and processing parameters.

- Experience with quality control and testing methods for plastic products.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Fluency in English and Hindi; Additional language skills preferred.

- Willingness to travel frequently.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with recycled plastics.

- Knowledge of FMCG packaging applications.

- Additional regional language skills.

- Experience with CRM systems.
