Mandatory Experience - Analytics, SAS and Financial Modelling
1. Understand business and finance requirements and interpret data to provide meaningful analysis to facilitate business decision-making.
2. Developing robust financial models which provide scenario and what-if analytical capabilities.
Key areas of Financial Modelling include:
a. Product profitability modelling
b. Vintage based modelling
c. Expense analysis
d. Break-even analysis
e. Scenario planning analysis
f. Discounted cash flow modelling
3. Post-implementation review of strategies to measure incremental value and quality of models for improvements in future iterations of model development for better informed decisioning.
4. Providing well-articulated business insights based on available reports and data
5. Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for any asset or liability product or areas in financial modelling.
6. Provide thought leadership and prepare ad-hoc requests quickly and independently but also be able to prioritize these requests.
Qualifications:
1. MBA with focus in Finance/CFA OR
2. Masters in Economics / Statistics OR
3. Masters/Bachelors in Engineering OR
4. Masters in Accounting - With relevant analytics experience
Experience:
1. 5+ years with relevant professional experience in a financial services or consulting firm
2. Good financial modelling skills with experience
3. Business change management experience
4. Virtually leading and managing various kinds of analytics projects
5. Experience in campaign strategy development, marketing, risk analysis, quantitative analysis, product profitability modelling and financial modelling
