Vice President – Business Development

BankBazaar has an opening for Head of Business Development in our Mumbai Office. The role involves managing senior relationships at Banks & Insurers, and is a ring side leadership seat in a company that is changing banking in India. Looking for consistent over achievers with business development success in the tech industry.

Banking experience is a must.

Job Location: Mumbai

Experience & Education: 8 years of relevant work experience with MBA from top tier schools

Role Description:

The role of Vice President – Business Development will be responsible for the sales of solutions offered by BankBazaar.com to financial institutions. The Vice President – Business Development is responsible for achieving ambitious growth plans, and engage with the Senior Management Team to develop and implement sales strategies. This role is about creating market presence for the innovative solutions that BankBazaar.com has and driving results through relentless execution.

Key Responsibilities:

- Engaging and selling the BankBazaar.com Product’s value proposition to large Banks and Insurance Companies

- Devising go‐to‐market plan for the product, services, and coordinating the pace of execution to ensure sales results

- Implementation of Sales Strategy that addresses different geographical sales coverage

- To regularly report achievements versus forecasts to the Senior Management Team

- To manage the Market Excellence/Intelligence process

- Ensure quality control of all sales output pertaining to customer acquisition and service delivery

Competencies:

- Should possess excellent relationship account management skills

- Should have high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business

- An in‐depth understanding of sales systems to support successful sales delivery

- Should be result oriented B2B business development experience with track record of achievements preferably in sales to Banks or Insurance companies

- Excellent Written /oral communication skills

- Presentation and negotiation Skills

- Interpersonnel Skills, Relationship building skills

- Self Starter & Ability to operate independently

- Willingness to travel extensively
