We at Baker Tilly DHC Pvt ltd are looking forward to hire for a position of Associate Director - Operation in Global Knowledge Services - SBU
Below is the detailed Job description for the same.
Business Development :
1. A training need to be organized how to approach the customer till conversion .
2. A daily update need to be taken over phone by Business head at Corporate'
3. A new business conversion need to be shared to all the region as a case study.
4. A business update need to be shared with all the Regional heads on a weekly basis.
5. New product catalog to go the existing client thru a mailer'
6. A caller team to be followed who should do a call and fix the appointment and built the data base.
Taxation related :
1. Computation of tax workings from the files received from client
2. To assist team members in extracting data from ERP systems and make necessary modifications
3. Validation of the important items including VAT/CST Classification, VAT/CST/WCT rates, checking for eligibility of input credit, setting of legitimate credit notes,
4. Filing of VAT/CST/WCT/GST returns
5. Filing of Service tax returns
6. Filing of Annual Returns
7. Liaising with Consultants spread across various states
8. To co-ordinate with other Department and solving queries in timely manner
9. Familiarization with the changes or amendments of the respective VAT Laws of the state
10. Experience in handling assessments, response to notices and orders issued by the department
11. To assist and guide in obtaining approval & registration under various tax regulatory.
12. To ensures minimum statutory audits queries & irregularities pointed by internal audit
13. Assisting and guiding in calculation of tax payable & VAT TDS
14. Work closely with the team and other departments wherever there are cross interfaces with respect to client deliverables
15. To assist and guide preparation of timely and proper details for VAT Audit
16. Ensure client deliverables are met on time every time
17. Ensure accuracy in the data processed
18. Ensure timeliness in all activities
19. Communicate appropriately to all the stakeholders
20. Initially to take control of all the Indirect Taxation activities in North India.
Administration related :
1. Be a team player
2. Facilitate smooth transition of activities and ensure handholding of junior staff
3. To co-ordinate between team members in accomplishing and executing of various task
4. To plan various activity in advance and allocate work for smooth & timely execution
5. Provide MIS to the management.
6. Meet up and establish a good working relationship with all the consultants in North.
7. Make changes and bring in new consultants wherever required.
8. Set up a center of excellence in Gurgaon office on all Indirect tax matters.
9. Gurgaon office not to act as a conduit for data flow to the consultants. Thorough check and balances to be applied before the data is passed on to the consultants before filing. Post filing reconciliation to be done.
Qualification and experience :
CA/ICWA or CA Inter with 10-12 years experience
