You are likely to be involved with all stages of an audit, including planning, execution and completion, training and supervising entry level team members. You may be asked to lead smaller, non-complex engagements. Increased responsibility for review engagements and agreed-upon procedures engagements may be a possibility. Typical responsibilities may include:
- Preparing financial statements and, where appropriate, suitable disclosures
- Supporting the Manager, Senior Manager, Principal, Partner in audit scheduling & planning and for various initiatives
- Execution of assignment as per the audit plan / programme
- Reporting/Escalating major issues/developments to higher levels
- Interaction and Coordination with the clients
- Preparation & maintenance of various office records
- Assessment of Quality of work performed by subordinates
- Follow-up for billing, costing & other documentations
- Documentation as per ISO/Audit Manual
- Adherence to office procedures, Rules & Regulations
- Follow up for fees and TDS certificates
