Job Summary:
- We are seeking an experienced analyst to lead our research team in providing high-quality investment research and recommendations to our wealth management clients.
- The successful candidate will have a strong background in investment research, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Research Team: Manage a team of research analysts, providing guidance and oversight to ensure high-quality research output.
- Investment Research: Conduct in-depth research on various asset classes, including equities, fixed income, alternatives, and currencies.
- Recommendations: Develop and maintain investment recommendations for wealth management clients, including model portfolios and asset allocation strategies.
- Market Analysis: Stay up-to-date on market trends, economic developments, and regulatory changes, providing insights to the research team and wealth management clients.
- Collaboration: Work closely with wealth managers and other stakeholders to ensure research is relevant and actionable.
- Communication: Present research findings and recommendations to clients, advisors, and other audiences, both written and verbally.
- Quality Control: Ensure research output meets high standards of quality, accuracy, and objectivity.
- Stay Current: Participate in industry events, conferences, and training to maintain expertise and stay current on industry developments.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field with an MBA in Finance and or CFA.
- Experience: 10+ years of investment research experience, preferably in a wealth management/ Stock broking / asset management firm.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret complex data.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to present complex ideas simply.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage a team, with strong mentoring and coaching skills.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of investment products, markets, and regulations.
Nice to Have:
- Broader Knowledge: Understanding of Life Insurance, ULIP and NPS.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
- Experience with Research Tools: Familiarity with research tools such as Bloomberg, FactSet, or Morningstar.
