Position summary : The Candidate will be responsible for replacing existing traditional RCU process with smart technological solutions which aide scale and scope of business while keeping fraud losses with-in budgets for SME, Consumer & Rural businesses
Duties and Responsibilities :
- To have an in-depth understanding of various consumer, SME and rural products offered by the company
- Implementation of fraud control unit systems thereby leading to a constant reduction in fraud management cost and exposure.
- To have a close watch on processes and maintain co-ordination with location RCU/ sales/ credit in order to identify emerging fraud risk threats for SME, consumer and rural businesses.
- Manage fraud risk, assisting businesses with implementing the 'best in class' tools & processes to minimize fraud losses while maintaining and adhering to desired experience to customers.
- Keep a continuous watch on ecosystem in order to identify technological controls to manage such emerging/ existing fraud risks and drive implementation in co-ordination with other functions.
- To be aware of ongoing issues and change management needed in tech solutions implemented and working towards improvement in close co-ordination with business/ IT.
- Responsible to manage fraud ratios of business within acceptable levels.Minimizing fraud losses to ensure robust portfolio health.
- Maintaining close co-ordination with senior management of all businesses/ ops and keeping them updated on fraud risk management strategies
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and to identify/ implement practical technology led solutions
- Compliance to BFL policies and procedures for ensuring nil instance of non-compliance during internal or external reviews.
- Lead, coach and develop a high performing team
- Report collation and MIS reporting.
Required Qualifications and Experience :
- MBA / Post Graduate with relevant experience of minimum of 10 - 12 years in financial sector.
- Understanding of SME and consumer business fraud risks and appropriate action plan.
- Good working knowledge of fraud control technology systems for e-Commerce, Online/ Electronic payments, Cards and SME loan products
- Analytical skills and proven ability to develop solutions to improve fraud stabilization, reduction and avoidance
- Capability to take an innovative approach to developing solutions.
- Outstanding interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
