Position Summary :
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Own the P&L for all categories. Set category GMV and contribution margin targets and work with various teams to achieve them.
- Understand the market in detail, identify the target segments, understand their needs and contemporary trends
- Conduct business analysis to maximize opportunities in the assortment in order to achieve continued growth and profitability for Vendor and Company; work closely with sourcing team
- Forecast sales, develop indicative seasonal plans, price merchandise, create promotional strategies and collaborate with sourcing team and vendors to ensure optimum inventory
- Communicate merchandising strategies to all Vendor partners to ensure that goals are met/surpassed on a regular basis
- Set periodic targets for the sourcing team at seller, brand, and SKU level and support the sourcing team in achieving them.
- Work with the technical team to develop tools and measures to improve conversion rates

Required Qualifications :
- MBA from a reputed institute with a minimum 9-10 years of experience.
- Prior & relevant experience in the Financial Services Industry would be an added advantage.
- Demonstrated success & achievement orientation.
- Strong bias for action & driving results in a high performance environment.
- Should have excellent communication skills along with strong presentation and data analytics skills.
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills.
- Exceptionally high motivation levels and needs to be a self-starter.
- Strong analytical skills.
- High level of proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint and Excel).
