Position Summary :
- Key leadership role within operations. Responsible for working closely with the businesses and different functions to build and deliver on best in class operations and service. Responsible for building new capabilities to improve operations and service, manage the budget, people initiatives and external ecosystem. Direct responsibility for following key operations units - SME Operations and Service, Banking Transactions & Initiatives, Insurance Operations, Commercial Operations
- Various different products are covered under these operations across the complexity and scale range : SME Operations ( Business Loans, Professional Loans, Home Loans, LAP etc ), Commercial Operations ( Loan Against Securities, Commercial Funding, PO Financing, Term Loans etc)
- Banking operations is responsible for effectively managing the over 6 million banking transactions handled each month.
Must Have (Key Sourcing Pointers) :
- Diverse operations roles experience, preferably in lending business
- Aptitude for technology, re-engineering, controllership
Duties and Responsibilities :
Responsible for managing initiatives within key operations units :
SME Operations :
- Responsible for ensuring effective compliant operations across branches and centralized teams for the various SME products
- Deliver best in class service for these customers
Banking & Initiatives :
- Introduce new banking relationships and new banking technologies
- Responsible for execution of BFL banking cycle activities (presentation, fate)
Insurance Operations :
- Work with the insurance partners on managing and enhancing insurance processes
- Responsible for execution of insurance operations
Commercial Operations :
- Responsible for execution of operations for different commercial offerings ( Loan against securities, POs, Vendor Finance etc )
- Build the Annual Operating Plan ( AOP ) and Long Range Plan ( LRP ) for operations along with leadership
- Specific projects and capabilities to drive the AOP and LRP. Same to be executed upon for delivery
- Drive continuous improvement efforts to achieve process and cost efficiencies
- Effectively manage the function to ensure productivity and simplification goals are met
- Drive process standardization and improvements to achieve desired results
- Identify, design and undertake analysis to facilitate process and/or technology change initiatives
Required Qualifications and Experience :
- MBA or Equivalent :
- 15+ years of experience with min 5 years in operations and service
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
- Forming the strategy and execution to the same
- Experience of establishing and maintaining relationships with business units / managers for managing day-to-day business
- Ability to effectively communicate and implement policies and procedures
- Ability to comprehend and minimize operational risks including wide understanding of audit controls and compliance requirements
- Ability to maintain control, direction and motivation of staff in an ever-changing environment.
