Job Title : Chief Risk Officer - B2C business
Reports to : President - Risk and Collections
Location : Pune (Corporate Office)
Position Summary :
- Formulation of Risk policy, Dissemination & Adherence of Risk Policy across markets, managing distribution risk, maintaining loss rates within budget for consumer B2C businesses mainly Personal Loan Cross Sell and Home loans to Salaried Customers.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Products to be managed :
- Salaried PL, Salaried HL, Personal Loan Cross Sell and Any other B2C product Launch
- To manage, own and hold portfolio health and loan loss lines for above products. AR to be managed is currently at approximately INR 13K CR representing approx. 25% of company AR.
- Establish and maintain relevant credit policies, risk monitoring structure and portfolio quality standards for product under management in hyper growth scenarios.
- Managing loss rates within budget working closely with cross functional teams RCU, Collections and Business teams.
- Ensure continuous improvement/enhancement to systems (SFDC &Finnone) platforms by identifying gaps proactively.
- Building framework to continuously assess and evaluate system capabilities to eliminate operational loss
- Monthly interaction & feedback mechanism with collection team to get ground level feedback on market/portfolio
- Support business in various initiatives and promotions by enabling business growth.
- Drive continuous improvements in analytics capabilities and enhancements in the use of risk models & analytics tools
- Responsible for formulating, implementation/dissemination & adherence of risk policy for all B2C business lines.
- Travel to locations to understand market and refine and upgrade policy as per market requirement and after risk assessment
- Managing distribution risk
Required Skills& Experience :
- Should have minimum 15 years of experience in lending business with specific experience in direct to consumer business or personal loans.
- Excellent Team Management & Interpersonal Skills.
- All-round understanding of consumer loan products and credit cycle management framework, including product structure/ packaging, regulatory requirements, consumer lending business & market dynamics, key risk & revenue drivers, product profitability, performance analysis
- Should have excellent communication skills along with strong presentation and data analytics skills.
