This person will be the business partner for the entire Motorcycle division with a team reporting to him/her.
Person applying should have at least 8 years of relevant experience in HR as a generalist and must have done MBA from tier 1 or tier 2 B-School.

Purpose of the job:
The role holder will lead the Human Resources function. He / she will be expected to provide strategic direction to the organization where people matters are concerned. He/She has to act as a responsible business partner and ensures HR support towards meeting overall business goals.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Manpower planning based on the projected volumes & units requirements - manpower forecasting as well as manpower rationalization (if required).
- Talent Acquisition- Approve the acquisition strategy & Ensure acquisition of relevant and best talent in timely manner.
- Define, create and implement people policies, processes and procedures.
- Maintain high motivation levels through a performance management based culture; identifying problem areas and initiating/ advising corrective action. Create Individual Development Plans and Training Plans as required.
- Recommend and manage the annual compensation cycle ensuring that the changes are effective and happen as per schedule.
- Driving Organisational Change- Driving the right culture in the organization in-line with company vision, mission and values
- Employee Engagement & Development- Ensure people development plans are created & executed.
- Employee Engagement- Ensure appropriate employee engagement practices that will assist in retention Effective internal communication & branding
- Maintain employee connect across all locations.
- Ensure that employee grievances / issues are managed and resolved speedily and to the satisfaction of both the employees and the management.
- Ensure that the HR function is equipped with required skills to address the needs of the employees and the management.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Must have a post graduate degree in HR with around 8 to 12 years relevant experience in HR.
- The role holder will have a proven track record of having managed HR function in mid-sized services organizations.
- Must have the ability to build consensus and should be a strong influencer.
- Communication skills will have to be of a high order and the individual should be an extrovert and should be able to deal with a largely white collared workforce.
- Must be aware of the latest developments in the HR space and should have created and institutionalized processes.
A people person who can charge the work environment with positivity, fairness and build trust at all levels.
