Scope of work:
You'll be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing Badili Africa's social media strategy. You'll aim to enhance brand awareness, drive website traffic, and engage with our audience across various social media platforms. Your role involves creating engaging content, analyzing metrics, and staying updated with social media trends to optimize our online presence and achieve marketing goals.
Role & responsibilities:
Strategy Development:
- Formulate a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with overall marketing objectives for the East Africa market.
- Identify target audiences for pre-owned Smartphones and create content that appeals on different platforms.
- Define key performance indicators and track the success of social media campaigns.
Content Creation and Management:
- Create engaging and shareable content for Badili Africa's social media channels, including Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.
- Coordinate with the content team to ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all platforms.
Partnership and Collaboration:
- Identify and leverage opportunities for social media partnerships and collaborations within the Smartphones industry.
- Collaborate with influencers and thought leaders to expand pre-owned smartphones' social reach.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Track and analyze social media metrics using tools like Google Analytics, social media analytics tools, etc.
- Prepare regular reports highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and insights to improve strategies.
- Use data insights to optimize strategies and enhance the impact of social media efforts.
Community Engagement:
- Foster community engagement by building relationships with followers, influencers, and industry-related groups.
- Encourage user-generated content and facilitate discussions around brand-related topics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/PG degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager, preferably in the consumer electronics, Laptop and pre-owned smartphones industry.
- Strong creativity and ability to generate engaging content.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with social media analytics tools and data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to stay updated on social media trends and emerging platforms.
