Badili - Finance Manager

Job Overview:

The primary role of the Finance Manager is to provide high-quality management information and support to the management team and department managers. Oversee and manage the finances of Badili Africa for countries like in East Africa and Asia, in coordination with local team member etc. Research technical accounting issues for compliance & and suggest required changes. Proven working experience in Financial Controlling profile.

Job Description:

Role & responsibilities:

Managing compliances & Billing

- Should be proficient with East Africa's financial compliances.

- Managing statutory compliances related to local payroll practices.

- Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.

- Research technical accounting issues for compliance & and suggest required changes.

- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.

Reporting

- Prepare and publish timely monthly, quarterly and annually financial statements

- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting

- Support month-end and year-end close process

- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting for each country

- Work and publish pricing reports for each region

- Financial forecasting.

Budget

- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances for each region

Qualification:

- CA/CPA or CA Inter or MBA Finance

- Working Experience: 7 - 10 Years of East Africa and Asia

- Proven working experience in Financial Controlling profile

- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures

- Experience with creating financial statements

- In-depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices.

- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods

- Ability to strategize and solve problems

- Excellent communication and people skills
