Product Manager - Homepage Feed / Community / Engagement

ROLE :

The purpose of a Associate Product Manager (Homepage Feed / Community / Engagement ) will be to manage following responsibilities for :

- Understanding the business and product challenges in creating a recommendation based product /communities

- Analyze the data and identify the gaps

- Suggest product improvement

- Create wireframes and work with the engineering team and ensure product development and delivery.

- This also includes building and overseeing Homepage Feed / Community / Engagement as a product, owning the product's strategic direction and ensuring the team has the tools and systems it needs to build successful products.

OBJECTIVE :

- Designing, developing and managing activities from product definition & planning to production and release. Developing the product strategy and roadmap.

- Working cross-functionally with design and technology teams to ensure timely and quality release of product/ enhancements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Analyzing product performance and redesigning as required

- Designing, developing and managing activities from product definition & planning to production and release

- Developing the product strategy and roadmap

- Managing prioritization and trade-offs between customer experience, business impact, performance, and post-launch support

- Working cross-functionally with design and technology teams to ensure timely and quality release of product/ enhancements

- Own Homepage Feed / Community / Engagement strategy to drive business growth and engagement

- Strategize and own a long term product roadmap with supporting success metrics on Gamification.

KEY REQUIREMENTS :

- You possess a Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field

- You have a strong background in software engineering as well as prior experience in product management

- You have prior experience in managing a product throughout its lifecycle

- You possess strong problem solving and prioritization skills

- You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- You can work effectively with cross functional teams

Preferred Domain Skills :

- Understanding of different recommendation engine to drive personalization and engagement

- Should have understanding for Homepage Feed / Community / Engagement engine working and creation

- Driving active engagement through relevant content engagement and CTR

- Should have worked backend Dev and AI team to create Homepage Feed / Community / Engagement features

- Should have worked on creating dashboard reports on users and engagement

- Understanding for third party tools and products to enhance the system

DESIRED SKILL SET (TECHNICAL) :

- Strong understanding of UX/ UI

- Software development experience (app and web)

- Strong understanding of product growth

- Understanding of different recommendation engine to drive personalization and engagement

DESIRED SKILL SET (NON- TECHNICAL) :

- Strong experience in a dynamic product management role

- Proven team collaboration and management skills
