We have an urgent opening with our client in Pune for the position of Business Analyst- Market Data / Time Series.  JD:  Role - Market Risk Change Business Analyst (ENO)  Key focus when shortlisting:  - Exposure to market data/time series data a must.  - Knowledge to risk management, Investment banking operations and products of around 6 years a must  - Knowledge of market risk management is preferred.  - Strong business analysis & problem solving skills. Able to propose solutions to the stakeholders on the change requirements.  - Strong change management & stakeholder management skills.  - Good exposure to SDLC. Knows deliverables produced at each phase of the project lifecycle  - Process oriented professional with equal focus on creativity.  - Able to partner with IT and end users to deliver the work. Also challenge IT, end users and self for productivity, process improvements and quality deliverables.  - Risks and issues identification and management with a strong sense of accountability. Able to deep dive into issues.  - Able to work with culturally diverse people. Exposure to onsite-offshore model.  - Able to work independently. Requires minimal monitoring. Gives a lot of thought in the job, always strives to improve  - Strong communication and presentation skills.  Job Scope includes:  - Business analyst and UAT tester role working on change management of Market Risk suit of applications.  - Following is the role & responsibilities:  Requirements gathering:  - Validate business requirements and justifications  - Identify potential cross business / projects dependencies.  - Compile high priority JIRAs, organise and propose prioritisation for each release  - Ensure each prioritised item has a BRD and uploaded into the JIRA.  Business Analysis  - Review and understand business requirement   - Analysis of the business requirements and documenting the functional requirements document.  - Manage scope changes and impact  - Organise and chair Functional requirements document review with stakeholders  - Track and close out requirement gaps  - Obtain sign off of functional requirements doc from users  Development & SIT  - Support IT on requirement clarifications  - Prepare UAT strategy, test cases and walk through with stakeholders  - Ensure access to UAT environments  - Conduct user training sessions for the upcoming changes  UAT  - Define the entry and exist UAT criterion.  - Perform UAT or support business to perform UAT  - Raising and re-testing the defects  - Test pack preparation  - Chair test pack walk through with stakeholders  - Analyse change requests & requirement queries during UAT  - Ensure test pack upload to JIRA upon sign off  Regression Testing  - Monitor and work closely with Release Team on data validations.  - Inform users when feeds are ready for testing.  - Chair daily regression calls  - Track and monitor progress of Regression  - Review and validate defects before handing over to IT  - Inform users when fixes are ready for testing  - Prepare and circulate daily regression status  Go Live  - Obtain ‘GO LIVE’ permission from stakeholders.  - Prepare go live checklist  - Check go live results and provide go live sign off  Education / Experience:  - University Graduate with good honors degree  - MBA in Finance or Financial Markets / Chartered Accountants is a must  - 5 or more years relevant work experience in Financial Institutions preferred  - Business Analysis experience with a leading consulting firm within financial services with implementation experience.  Skills  - Strong analytical skills, numerically competent  - Business analysis and functional specification design  - System implementation/ project management and testing experience  - Understand business processes, financial products, risk management and regulatory requirements (eg.
