Position: B2B Sales Head

Job Summary: is seeking an experienced B2B Sales Head to lead our sales efforts in the moulds and plastic packaging sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of selling moulds or plastic packaging to major branded companies such as Unilever, P&G, Dabur, Emami, and Nestle. This role requires a deep understanding of mould construction, steel specifications, and the ability to engage in technical sales discussions.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve growth targets.
- Lead the sales team, providing direction, coaching, and performance management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the FMCG sector.
Client Engagement:
- Identify and engage with potential clients, specifically targeting large branded companies.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals.
- Understand and address client needs, providing tailored solutions.
Technical Knowledge:
- Utilize knowledge of mould construction, steel specifications, and plastic packaging to engage in meaningful sales conversations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in moulding technologies.
Costing and Quoting:
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for moulds and plastic parts.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure competitive pricing.
- Demonstrate capability and willingness to learn costing methodologies if not already proficient.
Relationship Building:
- Leverage existing relationships with buyers and packaging personnel at major FMCG companies.
- Develop new connections within the industry to expand the client base.
Industry Expertise:
- Preferably have an engineering background or equivalent experience in mould construction and plastic packaging.
- Candidates with experience in selling hot runner systems or moulding machines will also be considered, even if they lack direct client connections.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within the moulds or plastic packaging industry.
- Proven track record of selling to large FMCG companies.
- Strong understanding of mould construction, steel specifications, and plastic packaging terminologies.
- Excellent relationship management skills with a network of contacts within the industry.
- Ability to prepare and understand costing for moulds and plastic parts.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Engineering background or equivalent technical experience.
- Experience selling hot runner systems or moulding machines.
- Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and costing methods.
