Azure Power - Manager - Operations & Maintenance

Azure Power is hiring Manager - O and M department to be placed at Jodhpur, Rajasthan.

- Strong candidate from solar industry with good liaison skills.

- Must belong to Rajasthan or knows local language and has worked in Rajasthan.

- A candidate must be from Renewable Industry, a strong candidate from Solar domain and someone who is a native and good into handling local, political/ critical issues.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- To review plant performance on Monthly, quarterly, annual level against model generation, budget generation and designed generation and explain deviations with proper reasons. Also ensure internal and external benchmarking once a year to benchmark performance of our assets against industry benchmarks and publish reports to management.

- To review Plant Maintenance activities on quarterly basis and ensure all major incidences are discussed and learning incorporated to improve the preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance activities

- To review profitability of the business every quarter against set targets and take initiatives for improvement and publish deviation reports with explanation.

- To manage strategic initiative projects on O&M initiatives which aims at high yield , lower cost and high availability for operating projects and publish weekly reports to management clearly highlighting the completion dates and challenges

- To develop inhouse tool for day ahead scheduling and forecasting.

- To constantly monitor the revenue targets provided in Annual Operating Plan and try and take initiatives of exceeding the target.

- To Publish an SLA with the customer on the performance parameters and publish quarterly reports against deviation with reasons.

- To Manage an effective team and cascade organizational culture to each individual and help them showing a career path in organisation.

- To drive innovation initiatives and lead them to results with pilot projects which can aim at higher yield , cost reduction and can be beneficial for being competitive in future bids

- To do an extensive check on system performance based on ground conditions and to give feedback to design team for better initiatives

- To work with design team in publishing forecasted plfs for all future bids in state where companies expect to participate actively

- To manage statutory compliances related to the business and publish quarterly reports on the same.

- To manage customer relations with existing customers through an efficient feedback mechanism and publish observations whenever received.

- To manage visits of external / internal agencies at the site periodically

Desired Experience and Skills :

B.Tech / MTech in Electrical Engineering with more 15-20 years of experience in handling power plants and have on hands experience in following fields:

1. Plant Maintenance Tool of SAP

2. Handling periodic Maintenance of Electrical Equipment's

3. Knowledge of regulatory aspects related to power industry

4. Strategic Orientation Business and Technology

5. Cost Profitability and Cash Flow Orientation

6. Man management

7. Operations Management

8. Customer Relationship Management
