General Manager/Senior General Manager - IT
Job Description :
- Accomplishes information technology staff results by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees, initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
- Preserves assets by implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security and control structures.
- Accomplishes financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective action.
- Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends, anticipating requirements.
- Strategic Planning for IT Infrastructure & ERP Software, hardware, networking requirements as per Business needs.
- Responsible for aligning IT Operations to business goals, understand user/client requirements and priorities, focus on future business needs after regular inputs from users.
- Ensuring proper execution - IT infrastructure, Help-desk support, Data Centre Operations/desktop/server support, LAN/WAN support, Email/Internet support & Security, product security.
- Managing Internal IT Audit and other special assignments.
- Manage the external vendors who are used for conducting specialized functional audits like IT infra audits/Process Audit
- Must make executive decisions regarding things such as the purchase of IT equipment from suppliers or the creation of new systems.
Job Specification :
Qualification & Experience :
- Incumbent should be MS/B.E/BSC in Information Technology or Computer having 15+ years of experiences with significant exposure in manufacturing industry
- Excellent communication skills.
- Incumbent should have successfully implemented at least 2 SAP system and should be able design IT Strategies & Execution.
- Strong Leadership & decision-making skills.
- Define IT visions/plans at the enterprise level, define and source the right IT solutions to support business objectives, and build cost-effective and scalable solutions that support business growth.
- Proven track record of managing a large team & effective project management
