Azure Power - Deputy General Manager - Resource Assessment

Position: DGM - Resource assessment

Reporting to: CEO

Long-term objectives: Responsible for handling resource assessment (wind/solar/hybrid) division for the organization. Lead the WRA team for delivering key results.

Key Job Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for leading team which will do site identification, mast installation, micrositing, layout optimization, Energy estimation and performance monitoring of operating assets

2. Monitor performance of team by sharing expertise on industry specific software applications such as PVSyst, WAsP, windPRO, Windographer, Openwind and AutoCAD for the Wind and solar resource assessment.

3. Monitor work related to IEC 61400-12-1 standard and completion of power performance testing

4. Review reports related to identification of potential areas and develop project pipeline.

5. Conduct site visits, Site assessment, and feasibility study with team

6. Review and liaison with vendors and consultants for meteorological mast installation, energy yield due diligence and power curve verification test.

7. Support to BD, PD, C&I, O&M and project fianc- team.

8. Prepare management reports, various relevant MIS.

Desired Experience and Competencies :

1. B Tech / BE / M Tech

2. 14+ years of experience for DGM position

3. Relevant experience in wind industry is a must

4. Should be well versed with Solar and WRA software and modelling

5. Stakeholder management

6. Management reporting

7. Good analytical skills
