Job Title : Business Analyst (Retail)

Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly analytical and business-savvy individual to join us as a Business Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets and generating insights that will help drive business growth and profitability. You will collaborate with key stakeholders in the organization to develop and implement strategies that support the achievement of our business objectives.

Job Description :

- Collect and analyze data from various sources, including sales reports, customer surveys, and market research studies, to identify trends and opportunities for growth.

- Develop models and simulations to forecast business performance and assess the impact of different strategic initiatives.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic plans that align with business objectives.

- Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop dashboards and reports to track progress and measure the effectiveness of business strategies.

- Conduct competitive analysis to identify industry trends, best practices, and opportunities for differentiation.

- Support the development of new products and services by conducting market research and assessing customer needs and preferences.

- Partner with the business head to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial models that support the achievement of business objectives.

- Communicate insights and recommendations to key stakeholders in the organization, including senior leaders and business partners.

Reporting Structure : This role reports to the Chief Business Officer (Retail Division)

Job Specification :

- Post Graduation in business management, finance or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in a business analyst or similar role.

- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. Proficiency in software tools such as Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and other data analysis tools. Basic knowledge and programming skills in languages such as Python, R, Java, or C++.

- Soft skills such as communication, problem-solving, critical thinking, and collaboration are equally important for success in this role.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.

- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
